Satellite Receiver
and VCR
Notes on UsingThis Connection
Toconnect a satellitereceiverandVCR

Conm.x;t the satellite antenna cable to the satellite receiver's
satellite input jack,

Connect the CATV cable to the VCR's VHFiUHF input jack,

Use a coaxial cable to connect the VCR'a VHFiU H_' output jack
to the TV's CABLE jack.

Use an AiV cable to connect the satellite receiver's AiV output
jacks to the VCR's AiV input jacks,

Use an A/V cable to connect the VCR's A/V output jacks to the
TV's A/V input jacks,
6 Run the Auto Setup program_ as described in "Setting Up the
Channel Lisff' on page 41.
Watch the satellite _ceiver Press W/VIDE0 _peatedly to select the VCR input (VIDEO 1 in the
illustl:ation).
T_neVCR may need to be turned on and set to the satellite receiver input.
Watch the VCR Press W/VIDE0 _peatedly to select the input to which the VCR is connected
(VIDEO 1 in the illustration).
