2.4 Connecting to a Computer

This digital video camera has two alternative ways of being connected to a PC: (1)
by inserting its USB connector directly into a USB port on the computer, or (2) by
connecting the USB connector on the camera to the USB port on the computer via
the USB extension cable.
1. Power OFF the digital video camera.
2. Slide the USB switch UP to extend the USB
connector.
3. Power ON the camera.
4. Connect the camera to the computer:
To connect the camera to the computer via the USB extension cable,
connect one end of the USB extension cable to the USB connector on the
camera and then insert the opposite end of the cable into a USB port on
the computer.

computer, insert the camera directly
into a USB port on the computer via its
USB connector.
