Visual Searching
During playback, press and release FF
or REW if you want to search the tape
visually in forward or reverse.
• Press PLAY/PA USE on the camcorder
(PLAY on the remote) to return to
normal playback.
• For brief searching, press and hold FF
or REW for more than two seconds.
Release the button to return to normal
playback.
Tape Positioning
Place POWER switch in VCR and
press STOP.
• Press and quickly release REW or FF
to rewind or fast-forward the tape.
• Press STOP to stop the tape.
• During playback, press PLAY/PA USE
(PA USE on remote) to "stop the action"
and view one frame of the tape.
• Press PLAY/PA USE on the camcorder
(PLAY on the remote) to return to
normal playback.
Caution: Pause is designed for momen_
interruptions and should not be used for_._
extended
period
€fftime. If the camcorder
remains in pause for more than five miniates,
it will autOmatiCally enter thestopmodal and
then turn off to prevent excessive tape wear.
