Playback Using the LCD Monitor or Viewfinder
You can view tapes in color using the LCD monitor or in black-and-white
using the viewfinder.
The viewfinder
will be turned off when you open the
monitor.
You can hear the sound from the tapes on the built-in
speaker
when
you use the monitor.

To Play Back a Tape
1. Attach a power supply,
and slide the
POWER
switch
up to turn on the
camcorder.
2. Press the VCR/CAM
button to light the
VCR (green)
indicator.
3. Press EJECT
to open the cassette
compartment
and insert the cassette
you want to play back.
Close the
cassette
compartment.
4. Use the LCD monitor
or viewfinder
to
view what you are playing
back.

Press the OPEN button and open
the monitor.
Adjust the monitor for
convenient
viewing.

brightness
with the BRIGHT
control.

the volume
of the speaker
with the VOLUME

Use the Viewfinder
• Adjust the viewfinder for conven-
ient viewing.
• Adjust the eyepiece focus control
for your vision.
Press PLAY to begin playback.
During
playback, use the playback features
described on the next page.
Press STOP when you are finished.
