Channellabel Allows you to add a six character label, which
is displayed on-screen when you tune to the channel entered in
tile C__an_ze! mimber option above. Press the up and clown arrow
button to scroll through the available characters. Continue to press
the right arrow button to highlight the next space to add another
character.
Favorite channel The channel you entered for (_l_an_zu! mzm/_(,r
can be saved as a favorite channel. You can have up to 0 favorite
channels for your analog channels and 6 for your digital channels.
Then use your FA\.' button on the remote to scrol] through your
favorite channels.
Autotuning A]lox\-s you to set up the T\" to autolnatical]y tune to the
correct video input channel \\-hen you press the VCR or DVD button.

Closed caption Many programs are encoded with closed-captioning
information, which lets you display the audio portion of a program as
text on the TV screen.
Closed captioning is not available on all channels at all tixnes. Only
specific programs encoded with closed-captioning information. \\.'lien
a program is closed captioned, (X; is displayed in the channel banner.
See Chapter 2 for more information about the channel banner. The
dosed caption options are:
CC setting Lets you choose the way closed captioning
information appears on the screen.
Off No captioning information displayed.
On always Captioning inforlnation shown always, when
availab]e.
On when muted Displays captioning inforlnation, \\-hen
available, whenever the TV's sound is muted by pressing the
MUTE button. The captioning information is not displayed
\\-hen the sound is not inuted.
Analog CC type If available, lets you select the captioning inode
used for displaying captioning inforlnation. If you are unsure of
the diff,,fences among the modes, you may pref_,r to leave the
c]osed captioned inode set to CCI, which displays COlnp]ete text
of the program in the primary language in your area.
Digital CC type If available, lets you select a closed caption
service n_ode (1-6) for digital channels.
Digital CCpreset If available, lets you select between D(jcmlt
and Olstom options. CustOln changes according to what you set
for the options be]o\\-.
