Second
Audio
Program
(SAP)
Plays the program's
audio in a
second language,
if one is available. The letters SAP appear in the
channel banner when you tune to a program that is broadcast
with
SAP information.
SAP audio is broadcast
in mono. SAP is also used
to broadcast
a program's
audio with descriptions
of the video for
the visually impaired.

Lets you choose
a setting
for the AUDIO
OI JTPI IT jacks.
* Variable
Provides
variable
output
from the MONITOR
AUDIO
OUTPUT
jacks.
Use this setting
if the T\/ is not
connected
to an audio
receiver
or amplifier
and the volume
is controlled
by the T\.'.
* Fixed
Provides
fixed
output/]om
the MONITOR
AUDIO
OUTPUT
jacks
to a receiver
or amplifier.
With the Fixed
Outl3Ut , the TV's volume
control,
graphic
equalizer,
and
mute
are disabled.
This output
is ideal
when
connecting
to an audio
receiver
or amplifier
that has its own remote
control
for controlling
the volume.

Choose the language
you prefer for dialog
on digital cimnne]s. If your preferred
language
is being broadcast
with a program, then tile TV plays it. If not, then tile T\/ plays
the default audio for tile program (usually English in tile U.S.).

Tile
language
you ciloose becomes
your preferred
audio language
for
all cimnne]s on tile digital tuner until you turn the TV off. If the
hmguage you clloose here is not being broadcast
with a program,
then the T\..'plays the defimlt audio for the program
(usually
English in the IJ.S.).
Picture Menu
The Picture, menu contains menus and controls to configure how the
picture looks. The Picture menu options apply to the vide() for the
main T\..' and video input selections. All picture options
can be applied
to each input- VII) or SVID, CMPI or CMP2, VGA, HDMI, Analog and
Digital. The VGA input has a (lift'erent Picture menu options.
