Timer Recording
You can set up as many as six timer recording
programs.
1.
Press MENU on the remote control to display the VGR's
main MENU.

The PROGRAM selection
should
be highlighted.
Press the
ENTER button on the remote control.

Use the • arrow button on the remote control to highlight
the CH field. Use the number
buttons
on the remote control
to enter the channel
of the recording.
Use the 100 button to
enter channels over 100, then add the other two numbers
using the 0-9 buttons.
Use the • arrow button on the remote control to highlight
the DATE field. Scroll through
the dates using the • • arrow
buttons
on the remote control.
If you want to program
a show to record once a week or
every day Monday through
Friday, scroll through
a month of
dates (alternatively,
you can just use the • down button on
the remote control
when the date field is first highlighted).
Choose MO~FR for daily recording
during th e standard work
week. Choose WKLYSU through
WKLYSA for once a week
recordings.
Use the • arrow button on the remote control to highlight
the first ON field, the hour. This field marks the start time of
the program.
Scroll to the correct hour, including
AM or PM,
using the • • arrow buttons
on the remote control.
Use the • arrow button on the remote control to highlight
the next ON field, minutes.
Scroll to the correct minute
using the • • arrow buttons
on the remote control.
Use the • arrow
button on the remote control to highlight
the hour field of the next section, OFF. This section marks
when the timer recording
will stop.
Set the hour and minutes
the same way as in the ON field,
making sure to scroll to the correct AM or PM time.

Information
The Clock must be set correctly.
Insert a tape with the safety tab in
place and enough tape to record
the program.
When recording from a cable box or
satellite receiver, turn on that unit
and tune it to the channel you want
to record before the recording is to
begin. The VCR channel should be
set to the cable box's output channel
(usually Channel 3 or 4).
