Using the Menu to Set Up Features
You can set up your VCR's features by using the remote
control's buttons to enter your choices from on-screen
instructions. Each menu item is explained in this section.
There are a few setups that need to be completed before other
features can be used. For example, before you can record a
show using the PROGRAM feature, you must first set the time
and date and scan for available channels.
Before you can make any selections though, you must first
determine which language you want your VCR to display
information.
Language Selection
1. On your remote control, press the MENU button to display
the VCR's main MENU.

Use the remote control's Av arrow keys to highlight the
SET UP selection, then press ENTER on the remote control.

Use the • • arrow buttons on the remote control to
highlight the LANGUAGE selection. Then, use the <-
arrow buttons on the remote to highlight English (ENG),
Fran_ais (French) (FRA), or Espafiol (Spanish) (ESP). When
the proper language is highlighted, press MENU on the
remote to return to the main menu.
