Recording
Features
There are three ways to record programs:
Recording-
pressing one button to start recording
a
program (see VCR Basics section).
OTR Recording-
starts recording
a program
already being
watched, and automatically
stops the recording after
a designated period of time.
13mer Recording--
automatically
starts and stops a
recording at a predetermined
time and date.
OTR Recording
Use OTR recording when you want to quickly record the
remaining
portion
of the program
you are watching.

Set the tape speed to SP or EP by pressing the SpoEp button
on the remote control. The current speed is reflected
on-
screen (if you have this option
selected by using the INFO
button on the remote control),
and on the VCR front panel.

Press the REC button (REC/OTR buttons
on the remote
control)
to begin recording.
3.
Repeatedly press the REC/OTR buttons on the remote to set
end time of the recording.

Each time you press the REC/OTR button,
you increase the
recording
time to the next half-hour
(up to 4 hours total). While
the VCR is in this recording
mode, the front panel display will
blink the time that the VCR is scheduled to shut off.
The VCR continues
to record and then automatically
turns off at
the time you select.
To stop an OTR recording,
press the STOP button
on the remote
control (STOP/EJECT on the front panel).
OTR Recording
OTR recording is a great way to
tape the last quarter of the game,
or the last pert of a movie when
you have to leave.
