Clock shows incorrect time or date
• Power interruption.
TIMER indicator flashes on front of TV/VCtL
• Clock was not set accurately (check AM/PM and date). See page 4.
• Need to reset clock for daylight saving time or standard time. See page 4.
TV/VCR makes
noise when stopped
• TV/VCR is removing
tape from heads. This is normal. The head cylinder
inside the TV/VCR will continue to rotate for a few minutes after you put the
VCR in the stop mode.
Will not auto channel
search active
• Check antenna or cable connections.

Tape plays back in slow motion
• Press PLAY to return to normal playback.
Cannot see closed captions
on screen
• Closed caption function must be set to on. See page 9.
• Station may not be broadcasting
closed captions.
Box appears on screen
• A text feature has been selected. See page 9.

• Change Signal Type to Antenna on Setup Menu. Press MENU on remote, 5 for
when using an antenna
Setup Menu, and 5 again to change the Signal Type.
