T!;e AV4 Input Jacks provide High Definition _qdeo Inputs at
080i or 480p, lbr accessories like a HD Receiver and Digital
DVD Players. Using the color difference signals (Pb, Pr) and the
luminance (Y) signal will improve color bandwidth information.
I Connect flee Conlponent _)', Pb, Pr) Video OUT jacks
fi'om the DVD player (or similar device) m the (Y, Pb, Pc)
AV4 IN(put)jacks on flee T_L
Connect flee red and white AUDIO CABLES to die
AUDIO (]eft and figh0 OUTput) jacks on file rear of file
accessory device to file Audio (L and R) AV4 IN(put) jacks
on the TV.
Press flee AV button on rite remote contral repeatedly to
ante to the AV4 channel.
Turn the TV and the DVD (or digital accessory device) ON,
Press flee PLAY button on the DVD (or digital accessory
device) to view flee program on rite television.
NOTE: This television is designed m accept high definition sig-
nals 1080i and 480p as specifiecl by the Elecmmic Industries
Association standard EIA770.3. Digital devices from different
mantffacturers have the possibility of differing output standards
which my cause clifticulties for the television to gmperly dis-
play.
Note: If the AV _-channel ]s t_nc_t and no signal con

CoEmect the VIDEO (yellow) cable to flee VIDEO IN
jack on rite side of the TV.
CoEmect the AUDIO (red and white) cables to flee
AUDIO (left mtd fight) IN jacks oct the side of the TXL

CoEmect the VIDEO (yellow) cable to flee VIDEO OUT
jack on rite back of flee camara (or access_a_y device).
CoEmect the AUDIO (red and white) cables to flee
AUDIO (left mtd fight) OUT jacks on rite rear of rite tErm-
era (or accessory device).

Turn flee camera (or accessory device) and flee TV ON.
Press the AV button on the remote control repeatedly to
ttme to flee AV3 chmntel.
With the camera (or accessory device) ON and a prere-
corded tape (or debar media depending on type of accesso-
ry device being used) inserted, press the PLAY button to
view file tape on file television.
NO_: The S-Video Cable can be used in place of the Yellow
V'ideo cable s!town in this diagram. If your camera or accessory
device has a S-Video output jack, cormecting the video signM
fltmugh flee S-Video jack will reproduce the video signal wiflt
greater qmdity.
