When set to proper audio mode VCR can:
1) record/playback MTS stereobroadcasts(main_anguage) i n Hi-Fistereo,
2) record/playback mono (mainlanguage) o r SAP (sublanguage) b roadcasts,
3) playback nonHi-Fitapesin monaural.
• The selected broadcast sound is always recorded on left and rightHi-Fi track as well as the normal monaural
track. This means tapes can be played back on Hi-Fi and non-Hi-Fi VCRs.

"HIFI(R)" to listen to stereo
recordings in stereo sound.
Select "NORMAL" for monaural
sound.
• Only tapes recorded in Hi-Fi stereo
will play back with true stereo sound.
Standard stereo tapes will play back
in monaural sound.
• To listen to Hi-Fi stereo playback, the
VCR AUDIO (L/R) jacks must be
connected to a stereo TV or an
external stereo amp and speakers,

• If trackin_lis adjusted during playback,
Hi-Fi audio may revert to normal audto.
• Hi-Fi and normal audio playback
volume level may differ.
