followingsteps.

WARNING:The cable must be routed
properly to avoid contactwith all sharp
edges and hot surfaces. Such contacts
damage the cable and renderthe
controls inoperative.
1. Pressthe stud foundinsidethe snapfittinginto the
hole foundon the left sideof the upper handle,as
shownin Figure3- 7.
2. Securethe cableto the lowerleft handlewith a cable
tie. See Figure3-8.Trim off the extra lengthof the
cabletie.

1. Attachtheeye bolt tothe upperhandleand loosely
threadthe lock nuton to secureit. Do NOTtighten.
See Figure3-9.
2. With the sparkplug wiredisconnected and grounded,
depressthe bladecontroland pull the rope out of the
engine.
3. Loopthe ropethroughtheeye bolt. See Figure3-9.
4. Tightentheeye boltto thehandle usingthe lock nut.

1. Removethe carriageboltsand relatedhardwarefrom
thewheels.See Figure3-10.
2. Reattachthe wheelswith carriagebolts at another
hole.Rememberto attachALL wheelsat the same
relativepositionto ensurean evencut. Referto
instructionsfor AttachingTheWheelsearlier in this
section.Fora highercuttingheight, usethe lower
hole on the deck. Fora lowercutting height,usethe
upper hole.
