Gas& Oil Fill-Up IMPORTANT:Your lawn mower was shipped without any oil in the engine or gasoline in the gas tank. Follow the accompanying engine manual to fill up both the oil and gasoline before starting for the first time. For subsequent operation of the lawn mower, it is very important that you check the level of oil and gasoline before operation.
Cutting HeightAdjustment Remove the carriage bolts and related hardware from the wheels, Figure 14. Reattach the wheels with carriage bolts at another hole. Remember to attach ALL wheels at the same relative position to ensure an even cut. Refer to instructions for attaching the wheels in the "Setting Up"...
Scrape and clean the underside of the deck with a suitable tool. Do not spray with water. Put the mower back on its wheels on the ground. If you had put plastic under the gas cap earlier, make sure to remove it now.
SECTION 6: TROUBLESHOOTING Engine fails to Blade control handle disengaged. Engage blade control handle. start Spark plug wire disconnected. Connect wire to spark plug. Fuel tank empty or stale fuel. Fill tank with clean, fresh gasoline. Blocked fuel line. Clean fuel line. Faulty spark plug.
