Important:
Setting the timer
This special feature allows you to program tile television T_o turn on
automatically at a time that you set. To set the timer:

Use these buttons on the remote:

O Press the MENU button on the
remote control. The Main Menu
will appear on the scr,een.

select "Advanced Features."
Press LNTER.

You will see the "Adw_nced
Features" screen. Use, the
ADJUST buttons to select
"Set the Limer." Press ENTER.

The TV will turn on at a day and time
you select. It will then turn off in
five minutes unless a button is pushed.
Use these buttons on the remote:
[_-1 ADJUST to select the day
[] ENTER to enter [_ MENU to go back
Use the ._DJUST buttons and
the ENTER button to set Day,
Start time, Input, and Channel.
After setting the timer, :make sure
that the program timer :indicator
is lit. The iJ_dicator will light in
orange whc:n the TV is turned on
and light in red when the TV is
turned off. rhe indicator will not
light when using the menus, or
when a lock message is displayed.
If you pres,'_ the CANCEL button
while setting the timer, the arrow
will mow_ to the previous item. To
clear the timer, press CANCEL
with the arrow next to "Day."
When the timer turns the television on, the display will flash. If
you do not press any function buttons for about 5 minutes, the
television will automatically turn off. Press a function b_tton (such
as the display button) to keep the television on and turn off the
flashing display.
