4. Using the menu

The phone offers you an extensive
range of functions, which are
grouped into menus.
Accessing a menu
function
By scrolling
1. To access the menu, press Menu.
2. Scroll with
or
menu (or with any of the scroll
keys if the grid menu view is
selected) and select, for example,
Settings
by pressing Select. To
change the menu view, see
view
in
"Display settings"
page 48.
3. If the menu contains submenus,
select the one that you want, for
example
Call
settings.
4. If the selected submenu contains
further submenus, repeat step 3.
Select the next submenu, for
example
Anykey
5. Select the setting of your choice.
6. Press
Back
to return to the
previous menu level, and
exit the menu.
By using a shortcut
Menus and options are numbered so
that you can quickly key–press your
way to an option. The numbers
appear in the top right corner of the
through the
Menu
on
answer.

Note: Menu numbers for options 1
and 2 must be keyed in as 01 and 02
respectively, if the options within a
menu are more than 10.
