5. Using the menu

Your phone offers a wide range of functions that are grouped in menus.

Most of the menu functions are provided with a brief help text. To view the help

text, scroll to the desired menu function, and wait for about 15 seconds.

You can set the help text on or off using the

Phone settings

menu. See "Phone settings," p. 39.

1. In the standby mode select Menu.

2. Scroll with the spinner to the desired main menu (for example Settings), and

select it.

3. If the menu contains submenus, select the one that you want (for example

Call

settings).

If the selected submenu contains further submenus (for example

redial), repeat this step.

4. Select the setting that you want.

to return to the previous menu level, or select

key to exit the menu.
