Fagoting Stitch
(_ Stitch width: 5 to 6.5
(_ Stitch length: 0.5 to 2
_) Needle thread tension: 3 to 8
(_) Presser foot A: Zigzag foot
(_) Paper or tear-away backing
(_) 1/8"(0.3 cm)
Use this stitch to join two pieces of fabric to create
an open work appearance and add design interest.
Fold under each fabric edge 1/2" (1.3 cm) and press.
Pin the two edges to paper or tear-away backing 1/8"
(0.3 cm) apart. Sew slowly, guiding the fabric so the
needle catches the folded edge on each side.
