    To initiate the backlight function: ¨ Press ®0¬ followed by 5 to set up the Auto-Backlight. When the scale is loaded (must be over 10d) or pressing any key of keyboard, the backlight will be on. The backlight will be off automatically 5 seconds after the displays return to zero.
