When the engine will not start:

Be sure there is no spilled fuel around the spark plug.

If the engine still does
not start, take the generator
to an authorized dealer.
To check:
1. Remove the spark plug cap and clean any dirt around the spark plug.
2. Remove the spark plug and install the spark plug in the plug cap.
3. Set the plug side electrode on the cylinder head to ground.
4. Pull the recoil starter, spark should jump across the gap.
