Cleaning
outside
The door handles
and trim.
Clean
with a cloth

with soapy water.

liquid

detergent.
Dry with
a clean,

cloth.
Do
not
wipe
tile refl'igerator
with
a soiled
dish
cloth
or wet towel.
These
may
leave
a residue
that
can
erode
tile paint.
Do
not
use
scouring
pads,
powdered
cleaners,
bleach
or cleaners
containing
bleach
because
these
products
can
scratch
and
weaken
the
paint
finish.
The staJnless
steel panels
and door hm_dles
(on some
models)
should
be regularly
cleaned
with a commercially
available
stainless
steel
cleaner
such as Stainle, ss Steel Mag'i:) _1

and protect
the fine finish,

Do not use appliance
wax or polish
on the
stainless
steel.
Cleaning
inside
To help
prevent
odors,
leave
an
open
box
of baking
soda
in tile
refrigerator
and
fl'eezer
COllli) a i'tlll ents.
Turn
off
power
at the
circuit
breaker
or fuse
box
before
cleaning.
If this
is not
practical,
wring
excess
inoisture
out
of sponge
or cloth
when
cleaning
arotmd
switches,
lights
or
controls.
Use warln
water and baking
soda solution--
about
a tablespoon
(l 5 ml) of baking
soda
to a qua rt (l liter)
of water. This both
cleans
and neutralizes
odors.
Thoroughly
rinse
and wipe dry.
Other
parts of the refrigerator-including
door gaskets,
meat
and vegetable
drawers,
ice storage
bin and all plastic
parts-can
be
cleaned
the same way. Alter
cleaning
the door
gaskets,
apply
a thin
layer of petrolemn
,jelly to
the door gaskets
at the hinge
side. This helps
kee I) the gaskets
fl'om sticking
and bending
()tit of shape.
Avoid
clemfing
cold
glass
shelves
with
hot
water
because
the
extreme
temperature
difference
may
cause
them
to break.
Handle
glass
shelves
carefully.
Rough
hmldlh_g
of
tempered
glass
can cause
it to shatter.
Do not
wash
any plastic
refrigerator
parts
in
the
dishwasher.
