POSSIBLE CAUSE
* Icemaker power switch is in the I (on) position, btlt the water supply
to the refl'igerator has not been cmmected. Set tile power switch
to the 0
(off)
position. Keeping it in the I (on) position will damage
the water valve.
* Old cubes need to be discarded.
* Ice storage bin needs to be emptied and washed.
* Unsealed packages in fresh %od and/or freezer compartments may
be transmitting odor/taste to ice cubes.
* Interior of reKigerator needs cleaning. See Care and Cleaning.
* _'_ater filter clogged. Replace the filter or use the filter bypass plug.
* Door may have been left open.

* Icemaker or water supply turned off. Turn on icemaker or water supply.
* Ice cubes are fl'ozen to the icemaker feeler arm. Remove the cubes.
* h'xegular dumps in tile storage bin. Break up with fingertip pressure
and discard remaining dmnps. The freezer may be too warm. At!just
the fl'eezer temperature control colder one step at a time tmtil dmnps
do I1O1 _()l'l//.
*' The dispenser is I_()(_KED. Press and hold the CONTROI_ LOCK pad
fl)r 3 seconds.
* An item is blocking or has fidlen into the ice chute inside the top
door bin of tile fl'eezer. P,emove any item that might be blocking
or has fidlen into the chute.
* Water dispenser has not been used flw a hmg time. Dispense water
m_til all water in the system has been replenished.
* Normal when refl'igerator is first installed. AHow 24 hours ii)r the
refrigerator to completely cool down.
* Water dispenser has not been used ii_r a long time. Dispense water
tmtil all water in the s_stem has been replenished.
* Water system has been drained. Allow several hours fl)r the
replenished water supply to chill.
* _,lter stq)ply line turned off or not colmected. See the
Installation Instructions.
* _'_ater filter dogged. P,eplace the filter or use the filter bypass plug.
* _dr may be trapped in the s?_stem. Press the dispenser arm flw
at least 2 minutes.
* The dispenser is I,()(_KED. Press and hold the CONTR()I, I,()CK pad
fl)l" 3 seconds.
* Newly installed filter cartridge. Rtm water fl'om the dispenser flw
about 3 minutes (about 1½ gallons).
