Loosen set screw (L), push chiseU (M) up against
the bottom of bushing (N) and tighten set screw,
This shouUd provide the proper distance between
the cutting edges of the bit and points of the chiseU
See Figure 19,

The fiat portion of the bit (0) shouUd now be adjusted
to a minimum of 1/16" beUow the bottom of the
chiseU (P), See Figure 20, For certain types of
wood it may be necessary to increase this
distance to a maximum of 3/16" clearance,
