ORBITAL MOTION

Orbital motion is rdeal for fast cuffing action w hen remov-
Ingold finishes,smoothing roughwood, cutting stock
down to requireddimensions,or for finishingsurfaces to
be painted. As shown in figure 8, the sandpaper moves
in tiny circlesat a very highspeed, allowing the sander to
move easily.

Flush sanding can be performed with the sander. Every
side except the rear of the sander allows flushsanding(n
comers. A/ways remove sander from workp(sca before
turning off.
TO REMOVE AND EMPTY DUST BAG
See Figure 9.
• Unplug the sender.
• Remove dust bag assembly from sander, To remove,
grasp adapter and pull straight out.
• Remove dust bag from adapter.
• Shake dust bag to empty.
Place dust bag back on adapter,
• Attach dust bag assembly beck on sander.

REMOVING SANDPAPER
BEFORE STORAGE
DOnot store the sander with pressuresansiUve adhesive
sandpaper installed.Heat generated from sanding causes
the pressuresensitiveadhesiveto flow end form a tight
bond between the cushionand sandpaper.
Removingthe sandpaper soon after you havefinisheda
sanding operationavoids lettingthe adhesiveset up. It the
sandpaper is left on the cushionfor en extended period
of time after use, the adhesivewill set up end cause the
sandpaper to become difficultto remove.
It may also tear when removing.When this situatfon
occurs, It becomes difficultto clean the cushionfor the
next piece of sandpaper.
NOTE: If you forget to remove the sandpaper after e
sanding operation, sand for e few minutesto soften the
adhesive backing beforeattempting to removesandpaper.
