Cleaning Various Parts of Your appliance
Before cleaning any part ofthe appliance, be sure all controls are turned OFF and the appliance
is COOL. REMOVE SPILLOVERS
AND HEAVY SOILING

pads. These
can permanently
damage

scouring
with a soapy
scouring
pad will remove
most
spots.
Rinse with
a 1:1
Broiler
Pan and Grid
solution
of clear
water
and
ammonia.
If necessary,
cover
difficult
spots
with
an
ammonia-soaked
paper towel for 30 to 40 minutes.
Rinse with clean water and a damp
cloth, and then
scrub with
a soap-filled
scouring
pad.
Rinse and wipe dry with a clean
cloth.
Remove
all cleaners
or the
porcelain
may
become
damaged
during
future
heating.

Clean with hot, soapy water
and a dishcloth.

and a cloth. Cover
stubborn
spots

Be sure to rinse
the
cleaners
as bluish
stains
may occur
during
heating
and cannot
be removed.
Oven racks
and oven
rack supports
must
be removed
from the oven during
the self-
clean cycle for cleaning.
If they are not removed,
the self-clean
cycle will not start. Clean
them
as described
above.
Oven
Door
To clean oven door, wash
with
hot, soapy water
and a clean cloth.
DO NOT immerse
the door in water
or clean the oven door gasket.
Oven DoorGasket
The oven
gasket
located
on the inner
frame
of the door and visible
when
the door is
opened
is essential
for a good
seal.
Care
should
be taken
not to rub,
damage
or
remove
the gasket.
To remove
burned-on
fat on oven walls,
moisten
soiled
parts with household
ammonia,

a wet cloth.
Complete
cleaning
with
a damp
cloth
and use a fine
steel
wool
scouring
agent
if necessary.
