identify The Model of Tractor
This manualis designedfor installationof this newbagginguniton
severaldifferentmodelsof tractors. It is importantfor youto determine
which modelof tractorthat you have. Oncethis is known,followthe
pertinentset of instructionson thefollowingpages.
Todeterminewhich modelof tractoryou have,lookat the tractor's
modelplate,locatedunderthe seat. Simplyflip the seat up and locate
the modelplate,whichwill includethe modelnumber(e.g. Lawn
Tractor247.XXXXX)and serialnumber.
If you are assemblingthis baggerunitfor use on any LTSeries lawn
tractor,you will needto install thetwo tractormountingbrackets
packedin your baggerkit. If you are installingthis baggeruniton any
YT Series yardtractor,disregardthesestepsand moveto Assemble
MountingBrackets.

Installa shoulderboltfromyourhardwarepackon eachbracket,
securing them withflangelock nutsalsoincludedin thehardware
pack.Referto Fig. 1.

Insertthe clevispinsfromyourhardwarepackon eachbracket,
securing them withclip pinsalso includedin the hardware pack.

Assemble Mounting Brackets
Toassemblethe baggermountingassembly,locatethe hitchbracket
kit and followthese steps:
1.
Attachthe right-hand and Idt handrider hitchbracketto the
universalrearattachment b racketusingthefourcarriagebolts(710-
0276)and flangelock nuts(712-04063)packed with themounting
brackets.Positionthebracketswiththe hookson the right-hand and
Idt hand riderhitchbracketpointingdownward, a ndthe tabson the
universalrearattachment b racketpointingupwards.See Fig.3.
