4 Bad spark plug. 4 Replace spark plug.
5 Dirtyair filter. 5 Clean/replaceair filter.
6 Dirtyfuel filter. 6 Replacefuel filter.
7 Water in fuel. 7 Emptyfuel tankand carburetor,
refilltank with freshgasolineand
replacefuel filter.
8 Looseor damaged wiring. 8 Check all wiring.
9 Carburetorout of adjustment. 9 See "To AdjustCarburetor"in
Service and Adjustments section.
10 Enginevalves out of adjustment. 10 Contacta Sears or otherqualified
servicecenter.
1 Dirty air fiter. 1 Clean/replaceair filter.
2 Bad spark plug. 2 Replace spark plug.
3 Weak or dead battery. 3 Recharge or replacebattery.
4 Dirtyfuel filter. 4 Replacefuel filter.
5 Stale or dirtyfuel. 5 Emptyfuel tankand refilltankwith
fresh, clean gasoline.
