    BEFORE STARTING THE ENGINE CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL The engine in your tractor has been shipped, from the factory, already with summer weight oil. Check engine oil with tractor ground. Remove oil fill cap/dipstick clean, reinsert the dipstick cap tight, wait for a few seconds, move and read oil level.

    TO CLEAN BATTERY AND TERMINALS Corrosion and dirt on the battery nals can cause the battery to "leak" power. Disconnect BLACK battery then battery cable and remove battery from tractor. Rinsethe batterywith plain waterand Clean terminals and battery with wire brush until bright.

    ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM To ensure proper cooling, make grass screen, cooling fins, and other exter- nal surfaces of the engine are kept clean at all times. Every 100 hours of operation under extremely dusty, dirty remove the blower housing and other cooling shrouds.
