Always wear safety glasses or eye shields while operating your tractor or performing any adjustments or repairs. We recommend standard safety glasses or a wide vision safety mask worn over spectacles.
  • Page 12 TO USE CRUISE CONTROL The cruise control feature can be used for forward travel only. SYSTEM CHARACTERISTICS The cruise control should only be used while mowing or transporting smooth, straight surfaces. Other condi- tions such as trimming at stow speeds may cause the cruise control to dis- engage.

    TRACTOR Always o bserve safety r ules w hen per- forming a nymaintenance. BRAKE OPERATION If tractor requires more than five (5) feet to stop at highest speed in highest gear on a level, dry concrete or paved surface, then brake must be serviced.

  • Page 20 AIR FILTER Your engine will not run properly using a dirty air filter. Clean the foam pre-cleaner after every 25 hours of operation or every season. Service paper cartridge every 100 hours of operation or every season, whichever occurs first. Service air cleaner more often under dusty conditions.

We do not recommend using a garden hose or pressure washer to clean your tractor unless the engine and transmission covered to keep water out.

    WARNING: TO AVOID SERIOUS iNJURY, BEFORE PERFORMING VICE OR ADJUSTMENTS: 1. Depress brake pedal fully and set parking brake. 2. Place attachment clutch in "DISENGAGED" 3. Turn ignition key to "STOP" and remove key. 4. Make sure the blades and all moving parts have completely stopped. 5.

    TO REPLACE MOWER DRIVE BELT MOWER DRIVE BELT REMOVAL 1. Park tractor on a level surface. Engage parking brake. 2. Lower attachment lift lever to its lowest position. 3. Remove any dirt or grass clippings which may have accumulated around mandrels and entire upper deck sur- face.

Before connecting battery, re- move metal bracelets, wristwatch bands, rings, etc. Positive terminal must be connected first to prevent sparking from accidental grounding.

Antes de instalar la bateria remueva las pulseras de metal, los relojes de pulsera de metal, los anillos, etc.
