ADJUSTME

TO REMOVE
WHEEL
FOR
REPAIRS
FRONT WHEEL (See Fig. 31) -
o
Block up axle securely
o
Remove axle cover, retaining ring and washers to allow
wheel removal.
°
Repair tire and reassemble.
o
Replace washers and snap retaining ring securely in
axle groove..
o
Replace axle cover
REAR WHEEL -

Block rear axle securely,
.
Remove five (5) hub bolts to allow wheel removal.
°
Repair tire and reassemble.. Replace and tighten hub
bolts securely.,

CAUTION:
Lead-acid
batteries
gener-
ate explosive gases, Keep sparks, flame
and smoking
materials
away from bat-
teries.
Always
wear eye protection
when around batteries.
If your battery
is too weak to start the engine,
it should
be
recharged..
If "jumper
cables"
are used
for emergency
starting,
follow
this procedure:

TO START
OTHER
VEHICLES
TO ATTACH JUMPER CABLES -
•
Connect eactl end of the RED cable to the POSITIVE
(+) terminal of each battery, taking care not to short
against chassis.,
°
Connect one end of the BLACK cable to the NEGA-
TIVE (_) terminal of fully charged battery.
o
Connect the other end of the BLACK cable to a panel
bolt on the left side of the tractor, away from fuel tank
and battery.,
TO REMOVE CABLES, REVERSE ORDER -
-
BLACK cable first from chassis and fully charged
batten7,
°
RED cable last from both batteries_

BULB

Raise hood
•
Pull bulb holder out of the hole in tile backside of the
grill
•
Replace bulb in holder and push bulb holder securely
back into the hole in the backside of the grill..
°
Close hood.
INTERLOCKS
AND RELAYS
Loose or damaged wiring may cause your tractor to run
poorly, stop running, or prevent it from starting,,
°
