TiRE
PRESSURE
Tile tires on your tractor were overinflated at the factory for
sllipping purposes.. Correct tire pressure is important for
best cutling performance.
Reduce tire pressure
to PSi shown in "PRODUCT
SPECIFICATIONS"
on page 3 of this manual
CHECK
BRAKE
SYSTEM
After you learn how to operate your tractor, check to see
it_at the brake is properly adjusted
See "TO ADJUST
BRAKE" in the Service and Adjustments
section of this
manual..
_NSTALL MULCHER
PLATE (See Figs. 5A and
5B)

Install two latch hooks to muicher plate using screw,
washer, Iock washer, and weld nut as shown
NOTE: Pre-assemble
weld nut to latch hook by inserting
weld nut from the top with tlook pointing down
o
Tighten hardware securely
.
Raise and hold defleclor shield in upright position
o
Place front of mulcller plale over front of mower deck
opening and slide into place, as shown
o
Hook front latch info hole on h'ont of mower deck

Hook rear latch into hole on back of mower deck
CAUTION:
Do not remove
discharge
guard

and hold
guard
when
attaching
mulcher
plate
and allow it to rest on plate wMle in
operation.

properly around pulleys and inside alI belt keepers..
