5. Using a garden hose,remove additional debris by
backflushing waterthrough nozzle extension.
Back flushbetween 30to60 seconds.
6. Reinstall spraytip andin-line filterintonozzle
extension.
7. Reconnect nozzle extension to spraygun.
8. Reconnect watersupply, t urnonwater,andstart
engine.
9. Testpressure washer byoperating w itheach
Quick Connect spraytips.
O-Ring
Maintenance
Purchase an O-Ring Repair Kit, item number 71-75116,
at your local Sears or by calling 1-800-366-PART or
online at wv,^,_'.sears.com, it is not included with the
pressure washer. This kit includes replacement o-dngs,
rubber washer and water inlet filter. Refer to the
instruction sheet provided in the kit to service your unit's
o-rings.
Pump
Maintenance
Changing Pump Oil
Change oil after first 50 hours of operation and then
every 200 hours or 3 months, whichever occurs first.
NOTE: When changing pump oil, use only high quality
nondetergent 30 weight oil. Use no special additives.
Change pump oil as follows:
1.
Clean area around brass oil drain plug at bottom
of pump.
2.
Remove oil drain plug. Drain oil completely into an
approved container.
3.
When oil has completely drained, install oil drain
plug and tighten firmly.
4.
Clean area around pump oil dipstick. Remove
dipstick and fill pump with recommended
oil to
"Full" mark on dipstick (typically 0.43L or 15 oz.).
5.
Install pump oil dipstick.
6.
Wipe up any spilled oil.

Checking
Oil Level
Oil level should be checked prior to each use or at
least every 20 hours of operation. Keep oil level
maintained.
Changing
Oil
Change engine oil after the first 20 hours and every
100 hours or 6 months, whichever comes first,
thereafter, if you are using your pressure washer
under extremely dirty or dusty conditions, or in
extremely hot weather, change oil more often.
CAUTION
Used motor oil has been shown to cause skin cancer in
certain laboratory animals,
Thoroughly wash exposed areas with soap and water.

Change oil while engine is still warm from running, as
follows:
1.
Disconnect spark plug wire and keep it away from
spark plug.
2.
Place a suitable container below engine to catch
used oil Remove dipstick, drain plug and washer.
3.
Allow oil to drain completely. Reinstall drain plug
and washer. Tighten drain plug securely.
4.
Place pressure washer on a [eve[ surface.
5.
Fill engine to the outer edge of the oil filler hole
with recommended oil (see page 7).
6.
Screw in the dipstick and tighten securely.
7.
Wipe up any remaining oil.
8.
Reconnect spark plug wire to spark plug.
