Shooting
for a Panorama
The camera
focuses

Use a tripod
for the
best results.

in shooting
mode
to display
the shooting-mode
selection menu and choose 1:_
(Panorama
assist)
scene
mode
(C_359).
Panorama direction
icons are displayed to
show the direction
in which pictures will be
joined.

Tap a direction
icon.

Select the direction in which pictures will be joined in the
completed
panorama; right (_1) left (1_1) up I_) or
_,L*
down (D).
A different direction can be selected by tapping a different
panorama direction
icon.
Apply flash mode ([_) 42), stir-timer
([_) 44), and macro
mode ([_) 45) settings with this step, if necessary.

Take
the first
picture.
One third of the picture will be displayed as
translucent.

Take
the
next
picture.
Frame the next picture so that oneqhird
of the
frame overlaps the previous picture.
Repeat this process until the necessary
number of pictures have been taken to
complete the scene.
