In a
(auto) mode (_
26), the touch shooting setting can be changed from
Touch shutter (default setting) to Subject tracking. Use this option to take
pictures of moving subjects. Tap the subject on which the camera will focus. The
focus area will automatically move to track the subject.

The menu of the touch shooting
setting is displayed in
the monitor.

Tap
_E] (Subject
tracking).

is displayed at right in fl_e monitor in shooting
mode.
{_] (subject tracking) is not enabled in shooting

other than I_1 (auto) mode.

Select
a subject.
Tap the desired tracking subject in the monitor.
- The subject is selected.
- When the border framing the subject glows red, the
camera is unable to focus. Change the composition
and try again.
If an area that does not contain a sdectable
subject is

When the subject is sdected, a ydlow focus area is
displayed around that subject and the camera begins
tracking the subject.
Tap another subject to change a subject to fallow.
To desdect the subject, tap _, displayed at right in the
monitor.
if the camera cannot track the selected subject anymore,
the focus area will disappear and the selection will be canceled. Select the subject again.
