Deleting Unwanted Images
1 Press the'_ button to delete the image
currently displayed in the monitor. _i
To exit without deleting, pressthe rotary multi selector _1. .............................

Press the rotary multi selector • or • to
choose the desired deletion method and press
the _) button.
Current image: Only the current image or voice memo
(_ 118)is deleted.
Eraseselected images: Multiple imagescan be selected
and deleted.

Deleted imagescannot be recovered.

Press the rotary multi selector _ or I _ to
choose an image to be deleted and press • to
add £_ to the image and mark it for deletion.
To undo the selection,press• to removet_'
Rotatethe zoom control (_ 4) to T (q) to switch back
to full-frame playbackor _/(_;_) to displaythumbnails.
2 Add _ to all desired images and then press the _) button to confirm
the selection.
A confirmation dialog is displayed.Follow the instructionsdisplayed in the monitor.

• Deleted images cannot be restored. Transfer important images to a computer he.re deleting them.
• Protected images cannot be deleted (_ 114),
• Deleting images captured with the continuous shooting feature , "Deleting Images in a Sequence"(_ 84)
