Slow shutter speeds are used to produce stunning night
landscapes.
• Camera focuses at infinity. When the shutter-release button
is pressed halfway, the focus area or focus indicator ([]

always glows green; however, focus may not be set for near
subjects, while the camera focuses at infinity.
• The AF-assist illumination
turns off automatically
regardless
of the setting of the AF-assist illumination

Photograph flowers, insects and other small objects at close
range.
• The macro mode (_ 31) will turn ON and the zoom will
automatically
move to the closest possible shooting
position.
• Tile camera can focus at distances as close as 10 cm (3.9 in.)
when tile _1_and the zoom indicator glow green (zoom
position is positioned
in tile left side of _).
The closest
possible shooting
position may vary according to tile zoom
position.
• AF area mode is set to Manual
