The camera is equipped with a ten-second and two-second timer for self-portraits.
When using the self-timer, use of a tripod is recommended. Turn Vibration
reduction
([_ 123) off when using a tripod.

The stir-rimer menu is displayed.

The mode sdected for self-timer is displayed.
Ira setting is not applied by pressing _) within a few seconds, the selection will be

Pressthe shutter-release button the
rest of the way down.
The self-timer starts and the self-timer lamp will
be displayed in tile monitor for a few seconds
until the shutter is released.The self-timer lamp
is blinking while the self-timer is operating, and
tile lamp lights up about one second before tile
shutter is released.
When tile shutter is released, tile self-timer wiU
be set to OFF.
To stop tile timer before a picture is taken, press
tile shutter-release button again.
