FEATURES
DieHard_ 19,2 V lithiurn-io_ battery packs are designed
with features that protect the lithium-ion celia and maxi-
mize battery life.
If the tool stops during use, release the triggerto reset
and resume operation. If the toot still does not work, the
battery needs to be recharged.
NOTE: The LED chmge Indicator light will not work if the
battery protection feature has caused the battery pack
to stop powedng the tool. When the battery pack resets
Itself, the LED will again function.

CHARGER LED WiLL BE ON TO INDICATE STATUS OF
CHARGER AND BATTERY PACK;
II Red LED on, Green LED off = Charger is gutling power
from o_gamttelighter receptacle or powP_ng location.

• Red LED fleshing, Green LED fleshln_ = Battery is
defective,

• Red LED off, Green LED o._= Battery is fully charged.
NOTE; There Ssa low input voltage audi[ole alarm for less
than 10.5 Volt DC input, The charger will shut off wher=
inputvoltage is less than 10.5 Volts or .more then t5 Volts,
CHARGING
A BATTERY PACK
See Figure 2, page _.

If the charger does not chargethe battery peck under
normal c{rcumstanees, return boththe battery pack and
chargerto your nearest Authorized Service Ceuter for
electrical check.
• Use batter), pack only With the recommende_ charger.
• Connect the charger to the power supply. MeResure
_e power supply is I2 V DC.
• Make surethe battery peck Is secured in the charger
before beginning operal_on,

CHARGING
A HOT BATTERY PACK
ff the battery pack is above norma_temperaturerange, the
redLED will b egin flashing and thegreenLED wlUbe off.
When the battery pack coolsdown to approximately122°F,
the chargerw_ autornaticaIly begin f_st charge mode.
GHARGING A COOL BATTERY PACK
If the battery pack is below normal ternperaIure range, the
red LEJD willbegin flashing and the green LED wiltbe off.
When the battery warms to a temperature of more then
82°F,the charger willautomatically begin charge mode_
