Usingthe self-cleaning oven.
The oven door must be closed and all controls must be set correctly for the cycle to work properly.
How to Delay the Start of Cleaning
[] Touch the SELF CLEAN LO/STD pad
once for a 4-h()ur clean time ()r
twice

clean time.
A 3-hour selfk'lean time is
i'ecoilli/l ended fi)r Hse when
cleaning small contained spills. A
sel6clean time of 4 hom_ or hmoer
is recommended for a dirtier oxen.
[_ ]fa time other than 3 hom_ or
4 hom_ is needed, use the number
pads and enter the desired clean
time.
You can change the clean time to any
tilne between _ houi_ and 5 houi_,
del)ending, on how dirt_, your oxen is.
[] Touch the DELAYSTART pad.
[] Using the number pads, enter the
time of dm you want the clean cycle
to staI't,
The door locks automatically: The
display will show the strut time. It will
not be possible to open the oven door
tmtil the temperature drops below the
lock temperature and the LOCKEDlight
goes off.
_._]_en the LOCKEDlight goes off; you will
be able to open the door.
[] Touch
the START pad.
After a Clean Cycle
Ym may notice some white ash in the
oven. _,\]pe it up with a damp cloth after
the
()veil cools.
If whitespotsremain, r emove themwith a soap-
filledor plasticscouring pad andrinsethoroughly
witha wnegar a nd waterm/kture.
These deposits are ilSllallv a salt resi(hle
that cannot be removed by the clean
cycle.
If the oven is not clean alter one clean
wcle, repeat the cycle.

X41file the oven is sel6cleaning, you can
touch the CLOCKpad to display the
time el day. To return to the clean
countdown, touch the SELFCLEAN
LO/STD pad.
If the racks become hard to slide, apply
a small amotmt of cooking oil to a
paper towel and wipe the edges el the
oven racks with the paper towel.
