Set the FUNCTION switch to RADIO.

Set the BAND SELECTOR switch to FM or AM.

Turn the TUNING control to tune in to a desired station.

Set the FM MODE switch to FM (ST) to receive FM stereo
transmission whilst listening to FM. If the reception is
weak, set it to FM (MONO). The sound becomes clearer.
Notes:
FM stereo indicator will light on when reception is good.
Power on indicator will light up when FUNCTION switch set to
RADIO.
Display become blank at radio mode.
Aerial adjustment:

After use:
Set the FUNCTION switch to TAPE [STAND-BY].
Beat cancel switch:
If a whistling noise occurs when recording from an FM or AM sta-
tion, set the BEAT CANCEL switch to 1 or 2, whichever gives the
best reception.
