Limitations

Listed below are the limitations for Fabric OS version 3.0.1b.

Fabric Assist

QuickLoop Fabric Assist mode is not delivered in Fabric OS version 3.0.1b.

When running commands from a script, it is recommended that a two second delay be added

between each command. A 30 second delay should be added to commands that write to flash

memory (for example, cfgEnable and cfgDisable).

The Core Switch PID Format command and Switch Operating Mode parameter are

present in the FC Entry Switch 8B or FC Switch 8B configuration dialog invoked with the

configure telnet command. These prompts are reserved for future use.

Do not change the default values of the Core Switch PID Format command and Switch

Operating Mode parameter. Changing the default values is not supported until such time that

formal notice of support is provided.
