Fabric OS version 3.0.1b can be installed and run on the FC Entry Switch 8B or FC Switch 8B.
Switches running Fabric OS version 3.0.1b can operate in the same fabric with the following HP
Fibre Channel switches:

Standards Compliance

Fabric OS version 3.0.1b is compliant with the FC-GS-3 standard except for the following items:

Web Tools

Web Tools is installed and runs on the switch but is displayed in a Web browser.

Workstation Requirements

The workstation used to manage the switch(es) must meet the following requirements in order to
install and run Web Tools.
Use of blank spaces in path names is not supported in Fabric OS version 3.0.1b.
Use of loop diagnostics will disrupt normal fabric operations, and should not be run in a
fabric environment.
