Dial Prefix

The Dial Prefix setting will dial a predefined
number before every fax number you dial. For
example, if your telephone system requires
you to dial a 9 before an outside number, use
this setting to dial 9 for every fax you send.
Setting up or changing the
prefix number
a
Press
(Settings).

Press s or t on the Touchpanel to
display Initial Setup.

Press Initial Setup.
d
Press s or t to display Dial Prefix.
e
Press Dial Prefix.
f
Press On (or Off).
g
Press Dial Prefix.
h
Enter the prefix number (up to 5 digits)
using the keyboard on the Touchscreen.
i
Press OK.
NOTE
• If your telephone system requires a timed
break recall (hookflash), press "!" on the
Touchscreen.
• You cannot use "!" with any other
numbers or characters.
• (Canada only) If the pulse dialing mode is
on, # and l are not available to use.
