consumed

power is turned
off (called standby
mode).
N To disconnect
the system from mains (AC) supply completely,
unplug
the AC power
cord from the AC outlet. When you
unplug
the AC power
cord, the clock will be reset to
"AM 12:00" if no memolT
backup
batteries
are installed.
You can adjust tile volume
level between
0 and 50.
Using
the system
Turn the VOLUME
+/- control
clockwise
to
increase
the
volume
or turn
it
counterclockwise
to
decrease
the
volume.

Using
the remote
control
Press
VOLUME
+ to
increase
the
volume
or
press
VOLUME
- to
decrease
it.
When you press and hold VOLUME
+ or
, tile volume
changes
rapidly.
CAUTION:
DO NOT start
playing
any source
without
setting
the volume
to minimum
first, as a sudden
blast of
sound can damage
your hearing,
speakers
and/or
headphones.
N For private
listening
Connect
a pair of headphones
to tile PHONES
jack on tile rear of
the system
(see page 5). No sound comes out of the speakers.
Be sure to turn down the volume
before connecting
or putting
on
tile headphones.
