Meaning
At the time only of 2-byte character, if a
conversion place domain remains, it will fill up
with X'4040'.
The field concerned is the field of only a 2-byte
character (Chinese character).
Conversion mode directions: The definition label
header of KANJI:OPK7.
It changes into an M/F IBM kanji code from
OPEN BIG5 code. Code conversion table It exists
in ./ directory.
A conversion table called BIG5HOST.tbl is used.
The 1-byte character code in the field concerned
is the EBCDIC code. A shift code changes into
1-byte character from a head. A space character
is changed into a 2-byte space code.
The 1-byte character un-definition is replaced by
X'40'.
The 2-byte character un-definition is replaced by
X'4040'.
At the time of 1-byte/2-byte mixture, if a
conversion place domain remains, it will fill up
with X'40'.
At the time only of 2-byte character, if a
conversion place domain remains, it will fill up
with X'4040'.
The field concerned is the mixed field of a 2-byte
character (Chinese character) and a 1-byte
character.

header of CHAR:OPK9.
It changes into the EBCDIC code (IBM system)
from an ASCII code.
Code conversion table exists in ./ directory.
A conversion table called BIG5HOST.tbl is used.
The 1-byte character un-definition is replaced by
X'40'.
If a conversion place domain remains, it will fill
up with X'40'.
