Recording movies in
various situations
Your camcorder records movies after
selecting the most suitable setting for the
subjects or the situation automatically.

camcorder detects a subject, the icons that
correspond to the detected conditions are
displayed.

right bottom of the recording screen
of movies or photos.

* When the frame rate and the recording
mode are set to [60i]/[Highest Quality F X ]
or [60pI/[60p Quality PS ], you cannot use
the Smile Shutter function while recording
movies. Furthermore, when the frame rate is
set to [24p1, you cannot use the Smile Shutter
function, either.
* Smiles may not be detected depending on
recording conditions, subject conditions, and
the setting of your camcorder.
