Red-Eye Reduction
The red-eyephenomenon
is caused by
light reflecting back from eyes photo-
graphed in dark areas with a flash. [t can
be prevented by recording in the @ red-
eye reduction mode.
The mode reduces the red-eye appearance
by lighting
an incandescent
lamp when
the shutter button is pressed halfway.
Usingthe Self-Timer
I Turn the Mode Dialto the 0
position.
• You can also use the self-timer with the
Mode Dial set to the OM, IMAGE or
