1.
Assemble latch pin to upper chute, as shown.
2.
Press weld nut into rubber latch and assemble rubber
latch to lower chute, as shown.
3.
Tighten all hardware securely.

No hardware
required
1.
Lower mower deck to its lowest cutting position.
2.
Assemble upper chute by inserting curved end into
hole in back of cover.
NOTE: Handle carefully so as not to damage dump bag
indicator.
3.
Push in and turn upper chute until it is in line with lower
chute.
4,
Align the bosses on lower chute with alignment slots
on upper chute and slide together.
5.
Secure with rubber latch by hooking hole in latch over
latch pin.

New Blade
Bolts
supplied
The blade mounting boltsprovided in this kit must be used
when mounting the cross blades to your mower. Do not
discard the hardware removedfrom single blade assembly.
The shorter single blade bolt and flat washer must be used
when converting back to a single blade.
1.
Remove bladebolt, lockwasher and fiatwasher secudng
blade.
2.
In a safe place, store the blade bolt and flat washer for
future use when converting back to a single blade.
3.
Install cross blade and adapter on bottom of original
blade with new blade mounting bolt provided and lock
washer removed from single blade assembly.
IMPORTANT: To ensure proper assembly, center hole in
original blade must align with star on mandrel assembly.
4.
Tighten blade bolt securely (27-35 Ft. Lbs. torque).
