_WARNING:

STANDARD
MAINTENANCE
, Inspect
all screws and tighten
if
necessary°
• Use a clean cloth to remove dirt from
tile tool,
, Do not use gasoline,
brake fluid, oils, or
solvents
to clean plastic
parts, These
chemicals
will damage,
weaken,
or
destroy
plastics.
• Do not oil or grease
any parts°
• Keep the nail magazine
chamber
clean,
, Do not rotate or remove housing
cap,
,_k WARNING:
Do not alter or redesign
parts on this nailer, or attach special
fixturing_ This can be a source of personal
injury..
CLEARING
A JAMMED
BRAD
NAIL
1, Turn off power, unplug the cord and
remove
all brad nails from the
magazine.
2o Remove
the two hex screws
and
washers
(t) located on the tacking
mouth cover_
3_ Remove
the cover (2).
PROBLEM
CAUTION:
The safety lock pin (3) and
spring may shoot forward,,
4. Remove
the slot cover (4)
5. Remove
the jammed
brad nailo
6.. Replace
all parts in reverse order..
7. Tighten
screws°
8, Make sure the safety lock pin (3) is
correctly
showing
out of the tacking
mouth assembly
(5).

Nailer will not fire
Brad nail jammed
Turn power on
Plug in
Reset circuit breaker
or fuse
I. Power switch off
2. Not plugged in
3. Circuit breaker tripped
4o Damaged
cord
1. Dirty, rusty, or deformed
nails
2.. Incorrect nails
Damaged
coil spring
Have replaced
by
Sears service
center
Replace with new nails
Use recommended
nail style and size
Power loss
Have repaired by
Sears service center
