4. Open theglobe valve fully toper-
mitairtoescape a ndprevent air
pressure build upintheairtank
during t hebreak-in period.
5. Move theOn/Auto/Off
lever t o
"On/Auto" position. The compres-
sorwill s tart.
6. Run thecompressor
for20min-
utes. M ake sure theglobe valve
isopen and there isminimal air
pressure build-up i ntank.
7. Check a llairline fittings a ndcon-
nections/piping
forairleaks b y
applying asoap solution. Correct
ifnecessary.
NOTE: Minor l eaks
cancause t heaircompressor
to
overwork, resulting inpremature
breakdown orinadequate
perfor-
mance.
8. Check f orexcessive vibration.
Readjust orshim aircompressor
feet, i fnecessary.
9. After 2 0minutes, close theglobe
valve. Theairreceiver willfillto
"cut-out" p ressure andthemotor
will s top.
BeforeEachStart-Up:
1. Place O n/Auto/Off lever t o"Off".
2. Close t heglobe valve.
3. Attach h ose andaccessories.

Firmly
grasp air hose in hand when
installing or disconnecting
to
prevent hose whip.
Risk of unsafe
operation.
Do not
use damaged
or worn accessories.
NOTE: A regulator MUST be installed
when using accessories rated at less
than 175 psi.
NOTE: The hose or accessory will
require a quick connect plug if the air
outlet is equipped with a quick con-
nect socket.
Risk of Bursting.
Too much air
pressure causes a hazardous
risk of
bursting.
Check the manufacturer's
maximum
pressure
rating for air
tools and accessories.
The regulator
outlet pressure must never exceed
the maximum pressure rating.
_Risk
of unsafe

operation.
Compressed
air from the unit may
contain water condensation
and
oil mist. Do not spray unfiltered
air
at an item that could be damaged
by moisture.
Some air tools and
accessories
may require filtered
air. Read the instructions for the air
tools and accessories.
How to Start:
1.
Turn the On/Auto/Off
lever to "On/
Auto" and allow tank pressure to
build.
Motor will stop when tank
pressure reaches "cut-out"
pres-
sure.
2.
When the tank pressure reaches
"cut-out" pressure open the globe
valve.
IMPORTANT: When using regula-
tor and other accessories refer to the
manufacturers
instructions.

any unusual
__
noise or vibration
is noticed, stop the compressor
immediately and have it checked
by
a trained service technician.
The compressor
is ready for use.
